M.Sc (Mathematics) department

HISTORY

In Department of Mathematics UG course started in the year 2008 with 4 staff members and 6 students, PG course started in the year 2011. Now the department flourishes with nearly 250 students and 7 staff members. Many students passed out from this department pursued higher education and holding various positions in private sectors. Now we are running our Department with 7 staff members.

ACHIEVEMENTS

• Students participated in 129th Ramanujam Day celebration conducted at Theivanaiammal Arts and Science College for Women and Won 3rd prize in paper presentation, 2nd prize in Quiz, 2nd and 3rd prize in puzzle
• N. KEERTHANA of I B.Sc., Maths won FIRST PRIZE IN ALL INDIA ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION in English on 12.08.16
