B.C.A Computer Applications

HISTORY
Department of Computer Application started in the year 2008 with 50 students and one staff member. Now the department flourishes with nearly 150 students and 6 staff members. Many students passed out from this department pursued higher education and holding various positions in private sectors. This department is equipped with very good library and Hi-Tech Laboratory. Our department produced nearly 50 graduates. Now We are Running our Department with  5 faculty members.

ACHIEVEMENTS

• M. Sharmadha Banu, M. Thapsira Parveen, V. Revathi of III B.C.A. have won I prize and a cash award of Rs.1000 in Short Film in National level seminar conducted by St.Joseph’s College of Arts & Science, Cuddalore.
• S. Susheela & M. Kalaivani of III B.C.A. have won IV prize & a gift voucher of each Rs.500 in Dumb-C conducted by Hello FM in Anthony Mahal, Pondy.
• S. Sahana of III B.C.A has won the II prize & a cash award of Rs.5000 in Anti Drug Abuse Slogan Contest conducted by Meenakshi Sundararajan college, Chennai.
