We try to encourage our students by knowing one small scale work which is educating in our college is Embroidery. Embroidery is the craft of decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to apply thread or yarn. We decided to bring interest in embroidery for new came I B.Sc Mathematics students. It is not only a art but it is also help us to earn in part time. So it was experimented on 20-7-2018 by the guidance of the staff Mrs. M.Renugha and Miss. K.Anandhi at time of 3.10 pm to 4.00 pm. Art of embroidery was performed by our second year student R.Chitra. Then audience for the programme was our new bud I B.Sc Maths students. She encourage the students by teaching Some of the basic techniques on stitches of the earliest embroidery are chain stitch, buttonhole or blanket stitch, running stitch, satin stitch, cross stitch. Those stitches remain the fundamental techniques of hand embroidery and sharing her learning towards embroidery work.
